Needless to say I became very good at spotting planes, and I think in my years there I probably spent more time focusing on what was going on outside than in. You've reminded me why aviation, for all its logistical, post-9/11-security-nightmare idiocy, remains a joy to brush up against. And a 757 with a winglet kit and a 747-400 are about as pretty - and pretty inspiring - as they come. I'm with Mojo: I love the small of jet exhaust in the morning.
