This is my first sojourn into the realm of flash fiction. 55 Fiction refers to complete stories, with at least one character and a discernible plot, exactly 55 words long. Feel free to count them:

She could write a thesis on the significance of Crock Pots and other insignificant things. Choking back a sob, she scoops macaroni from the casserole, remembering things she left behind. The potluck crockery brings stinging tears to her eyes as she recalls his last words: “I guess you did live with me.” What a crock.
