I love toads, used to capture them when I visited my grandparents place in a rural setting. Don’t see them much here. I think it’s too dry in Colorado.

Our kids love frogs (the little ones). This frog looks too ugly to not be a prince. The uglier they are the more likely they are to be a prince since it decreases the chances of anyone kissing them to change them.

You should’ve seen me taking it. I had just returned home from my monochrome photo shoot, and he was sitting in the middle of my front walk to greet me. So I laid down on my driveway in front of him to capture a nice clear close-up shot. I was so afraid I’d startle him off, so I started back a bit, but when he didn’t move, I inched in closer. So there I was, doing an army-crawl toward him on my driveway. I’m so glad my neighbor wasn’t out walking…
