Seventh installment, forty-fourth 55.  It may never end.

She smirked at him, taking his glass and returning to the kitchen.  She was starting to feel comfortable in his apartment — enough that she peeked in cupboards.  He was drinking Jack and Coke; she sniffed the whiskey, nose wrinkled, and felt out of her league again.

He saw everything in the mirror against the wall.
