Yup. Maybe not the same shot, but the same place… the background is from the same place as this shot. Cropped differently and burned in darker, but same shot.
Yes, the trees are from that shot. Good eye! The sky is actually pure PhotoShop… a black-to-dark-grey gradient fill, and little stars drawn in. Then the moon is a shot I took this weekend, following your tips from your moon shot. And Cierra’s “bubble” is from a crystal globe shot I took at my land. Sorry to disappoint you, but it’s 100% my work.
Oh I wasn’t thinking you nicked my shot (not that I’d have minded contributing to something this cool) I was just saying it could have been one I took. Just meaning it looked like the couple of hundred full moon experiments I went through to get that SWF post.
But I’m not disappointed! Not at all! This is great work!
And wow… That was a lot of masking to get that gradient fill to work. More patience than I’d have had. I’d have just burned it darker and then sprinkled in the stars.
Was that the same crystal globe you used in your Thematic Photographic “Glass” shot?

I think I recognize the background layer as a Wordless of yours from several months ago… one with a quarter (or less) moon as I recall… am I right?
Layer #2 could’ve been one of mine actually… from my Halloween Sky Watch.
And Layer #3… mmm… don’t recognize that pose…
