Powerful shot of my all-time favorite city (which says a lot, because I always find SOMETHING to love wherever I go. But Seattle speaks to my soul, somehow, and I must return soon.
Thank you so much for making the Thematic Photographic label. I’m deeply honored! I promise you’ll like the next theme, as I’ve been very busy with my camera of late. I guess it just brings me comfort when life gets busy.
My own WW contribution will be up later tonight here: http://tinyurl.com/5ngqsa
But I can promise you my photo won’t hold a candle to this one. I can see myself sitting by the water staring across the bay. Happy sigh.

Why do I hear the Frasier theme tune in my head?
June 17th, 2008 at 5:24 pm
Hi Carmi! Really, I liked the snack food theme. I just didn’t have time to participate. Maybe I’ll post photos for last week’s theme and this week’s (after it’s announced) when I do finally get around to playing along. I really love the concept, which is why I rushed off so enthusiastically to make the button. And don’t be so modest… I’ve seen your work. I’m sure your photo will compare very favorably to mine. Very favorably. *envy*
Bodhipaksa… oh, Frasier was set in Seattle? *ducks* I’m so out of touch.

I love this city. I am definitely going to have to visit someday. I lived there when I was four, and strangely I miss it.

so…this reminded me that we have your post cards. I went to look for them and they are no where to be found. I owe you some post cards… sry

Hi, Julie… that’s okay. I have a habit of taking my own postcard photos, as you can see. My sister doesn’t know that the ones I bought ever existed, so nobody’s harmed. Maybe I’ll print this and mail it to her. *giggle*

Wonderful photo. I haven’t been to Seattle in many years – probably 10 or more. I have some good memories from that great city.

Beautiful shot. I love the Pacific Northwest….just not as much as I love arctic Alaska. Great night shot. I have done a few but need to work on it more.

I liked Seattle when I visited, that was a long time ago though, like twelve years. Bet it’s changed a bit since then. Pretty photo, :)
